We want to thank the Barrington Times for the amazing writeup about Bitmask Games students and their participating in the Global Game Jam this year! While this year's event was plagued with unexpected issues (everything from illness to random power outages...the students learned a valuable lesson about the power of Control-S!), it was a good first step for them to feel the crunch of a development sprint.
For those that don't know, the Global Game Jam is an event where tens of thousands of developers from around the world (180 countries!) all create games around a common theme in 48 hours. It's all about collaboration, cooperation, working to work within constraints and limitations. I'm incredibly proud of the students who participated.
